# Product pages

Product page layouts, blocks, editions and the buy box.

The **Product information** section holds the page. Its settings choose:

* **Layout:** artwork beside the details or above them.
* **Artwork column width** and **Artwork position**.
* **Gallery:** main image with thumbnails, or all images in a grid.
* **Show links under the artwork** to the artist, label and collections.

The info column is never put in its own scroll box, so the buy button is always reachable. Tall columns stay pinned by their bottom edge instead.

## Blocks

| Block | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| Artist and title | Artist as a small label or a large link, the title, and optionally the format, edition and record label. |
| Vendor | The product vendor. |
| Release status | Pre-order with release date, new release, or released. |
| Price | Price, compare at price and unit price. |
| Formats and editions | Other editions from the Formats and editions metafield. **Add other editions without leaving the page** gives each one its own add button. |
| Buy box (editions) | Every edition as its own card with price, dispatch dates and a buy button. See below. |
| Variant picker | Options for products with variants. |
| Buy buttons | Add to cart, with optional quantity and dynamic checkout buttons. Sold-out products show **Notify me** here. |
| Pickup availability | Local pickup stock for the selected variant. |
| Description | The description, optionally in a collapsible panel and shortened with Read more after a set number of lines. |
| Release details | Format, edition, colors, features, label and release date, plus the catalog number (`custom.catalog_number`) and optionally the barcode. |
| Tracklist | The tracklist metafield in a panel. |
| Collapsible tab | Your own content or a page, for shipping and returns and similar. |
| Share | Share links. |
| Review | A review of this product from your blog. See [Blog and reviews](blog-and-reviews.md). |
| Read about this release | Links to the release post written for this record (`custom.release_post`). Shows nothing when there is none. |
| Custom Liquid and app blocks | For apps and one-off code. |

## Buy box (editions)

The buy box shows every edition as its own card. It replaces the Price, Formats and editions, Variant picker and Buy buttons blocks, so remove those when you use it. Its settings cover:

* card background, quantity and dynamic checkout buttons
* dispatch estimates in working days
* a **Customer limit metafield** and an **Offer badge metafield**
* a colored vinyl note
* a checklist, one line per item, where `[threshold]` shows your free shipping amount
